Send Handwritten Cards
Looking to make a real impression? With Happy Grasshopper’s Handwritten Cards feature, you can send authentic, heartfelt messages—no stamps, envelopes, or trips to the post office required.
🚪 Getting Started
- Navigate to the Handwritten Cards Tab
On the left-hand menu of your dashboard, scroll down and click Handwritten Cards.
- Click “Create New”
Hit the Create New button in the upper-right corner to begin choosing a card.
💌 Choosing & Customizing Your Card
- Pick a Design
Browse through available card templates or use the category filter to narrow your search. You’ll see a preview of the card and details like price and postage.
- Free vs Paid
If your account includes free card sends, it won’t deduct credits. Otherwise, the cost per card is displayed up front.
- Write Your Message
- Enter your custom message in the content box.
- Don’t forget to sign it manually! This isn’t auto-filled—we want it to look truly handwritten.
- First names are auto-inserted at the top, so no need to include them again in the body.
- Choose a Handwritten Font
Select from various font styles to match your personality or message tone—whether formal, playful, or relaxed.
📬 Sending & Scheduling
- Click “Send & Save” at the top of the page.
- Name Your Card (internal only—contacts won’t see this).
- Select Your Recipient by name or tag.
- Confirm Sender Info
- Your name, company (optional), and return address are pulled from your profile.
- Schedule Your Send Date
- This is the send date, not the delivery date. Be mindful of postal delays, especially during holidays.
📚 Accessing Your Library
- Use the sidebar menu to filter by category or see saved drafts.
- Easily return to cards you’ve created for re-use or edits.
📊 Reporting & Delivery Status
Check the Reporting section to track:
- Cards that have been sent
- Failed deliveries (e.g., missing physical addresses)
- Issues flagged by our mail partner, Handwrytten
🚫 Note: We can’t track whether someone opened a card (we’re not that creepy), but we do track successful sends and failures.
Happy Sending!
