Team Starter - Blasts

The Blasts message functionality is a great way to send one-off emails to some, or all, of your contacts. An additional feature exclusive to team managers is the ability to send Blast messages on behalf of other agents or queue a message for your team!

Let’s take a look at blasts and how to send one today...

Step 1:

While logged into your Manager Panel, click Blasts on the left-hand menu.

Step 2:

Once on the Blasts page, you’ll be able to see blasts you’ve already saved in the past. You can re-send any saved blast, as well as delete it or share the message with any user(s) on your team.

Let’s create your first blast! On the right-hand side of the page, you’ll click New Blast to create a new message.

Step 3:

The blast editor allows you create your own message from scratch - you have multiple options to personalize your message, as well as a source code button if you want to add your own HTML code. Make sure to save your work!

So, now you’ve created your blast… it’s time to send it!

Step 4:

Returning to the Blasts page will show you the blast you just saved. There, you’ll click the Send button to the right of your blast. Don’t worry!  You’ll need to select who this message will send to first before it’s actually sent for you.

PRO TIP: You may also choose to Share your message if you prefer to queue this message for any user, allowing them to send this message on their own.

Next, you’ll be able to select which users you wish to send the blast on behalf of. The box on the left is a list of all your users. Clicking one (or all) will move them over to the right box, denoting that these are the agents that will be sending the blasts. Click Next once you're ready…

Step 5:

You’ll then select who exactly you’re sending this blast to. Just like on the last screen, you’ll see two boxes: left and right. On the left are all the tags (or categories) of contacts that are available. Clicking them will move them over to the right-hand side, denoting they will receive this blast message.  Be sure to include any specific tags, or all contacts if you prefer.

Below these are another set of boxes for excluding contacts. Just as above, clicking on the left will move the tag to the right and ensure they do not receive this blast message.

Note: You will have to do this for every agent for whom you’re sending a blast.

Tip: You can also click the Send to All box and send this blast message to every contact in the account!

Step 6:

Once you’ve selected who to send to, it’s time to select when to send it. You can either send right away and select ASAP, or SCHEDULE a message to select a specific time and day.

Make sure to save your work at the bottom and you’re all set; your blasts will be on their way!
