System Update - Email is Changing

Don’t worry, we’ve got you!  =)

We’ve always been leaders in email marketing and have been working behind the scenes to ensure that the email you send from Happy Grasshopper and the email you send outside of Happy Grasshopper is delivered, read and responded to.

The landscape of email is changing. Gmail has changed its grading protocols (these dictate whether an email is delivered into an inbox, a promotions tab or spam folder). We’ve been told by our delivery partners that other Email Service Providers (ESP's) are expected to soon follow suit.

You may have noticed a new email address in your Happy Grasshopper Email Signature. This is to ensure the best possible delivery of both your Happy Grasshopper emails and the personal emails you send outside of our system. Despite this change, all replies to your Happy Grasshopper emails will continue to go straight to your personal email inbox.

What do you need to do?

Nothing!  We’ve already made these changes to your account to help ensure successful deliverability.  You can expect any responses to return to your inbox as normal.

What exactly is going to change for me?

You will no longer be able to send and receive messages from whichever email address you prefer.  However, although messages will now appear as sent from your new domain (EX: NAME@WEBSITE.hgmail.pro), you can expect that any responses will be forwarded to your preferred email address so you can continue the conversation as normal.

When will this happen?

Effective immediately, and you may have already noticed these changes within your Signature settings.

Over the past few weeks as we have implemented these changes, you may have noticed some deliverability issues with your Happy Grasshopper messages. We want to assure you that these issues have been resolved, and that over the next two weeks you will start seeing better deliverability than ever before!

We thank you for your patience as we adjust to these changes, and we remain committed to providing a great service to you.  This change is a big part of that.  =)
